How would you describe your art in 3 words?

Heartfelt, Exhilarating, Blissful.

For all of her 19 years, Sarah-Anne Fried’s life has been surrounded by music. The musician from Long Island, New York, first picked up the violin at 18 months, and since then has developed into an immensely talented performer with a deep love for what she does. Sarah is constantly perfecting her craft, whether it be through memorizing concertos of several pages, or teaching the instrument to students on her rest days. She sees herself working on film scores in the future, or collaborating in a studio with other talented musicians who share her same passions and appreciations. Her undeniable artistry paired with her love and determination centered around her craft is the perfect combination to make the young musician destined for greatness.

Where/how do you gather inspiration?

When I hear orchestral music whether it’s in a movie scene or song on the radio, my ears gravitate towards the musical score and I immediately feel that my purpose is to create and refine my craft to get to that end goal. I love collaborating with other musicians too! There’s nothing like the divine energy of expressive and friendly musicians all in one room.

What do you hope audiences retain from your work?

What I want my audiences to retain from my work is a sense of comfort & bliss. I also wish for my audience to feel the emotions coming from the music.
