How would you describe your art in three words?

I describe my artwork as If I’m the other person who is looking at it, and what would I say if I were that person. If I have to describe my art in three words I would say: not there yet.

Partnered with applaudable levels of precision and accuracy, artist Sadafa Aleen draws her pictures with passion and dedication. The 16 year old from Lahore, Pakistan has been perfecting her craft for several years. At such a young age, she is able to turn a blank canvas into a drawing so realistic, you find yourself staring closely at every detail. Sadafa’s portfolio consists of things that require talented exactness, such as the textures of the human skin, or the glistening of an eye. She is an artist who values the art community, as she often gathers inspiration from other creators she admires. She hopes her work can be as influential and inspiring for other artists.

Where/how do you gather inspiration?

I get my Inspiration from other artists and references, when I’m having an art block I go through Pinterest and search for references, and most of the time I find something really beautiful that I can’t help but draw, and then as an artist there are artist who inspires me a lot when I look at their drawings I can’t help but think how they did it, and I started imagining myself drawing the same thing.

What do you hope audiences retain from your work?

My audience get motivation from my art, they get motivated to draw.
