Seeking the Creative: Tyler Reid, Stylist

How would you describe your art in three words?

Diverse, outlandish & inquisitive.

Tyler Reid, a 23 year old stylist, sees the world through a colorful and bold creative vision that gives his styling choices an eye-catching edge. The outfits he curates reveal a penetrating interest in the world of fashion, featuring a balance of trends and timeless aesthetics. When he isn’t working on shoots or hunting for new styling inventory, Tyler uses his closet as a creative resource, playing around by creating show-stopping clothing combinations. He is always focused on pursuing his goal of establishing his own fashion line, and aims to capture the eye of his style icons who inspired him to pursue styling in the first place.

Where/how do you gather inspiration?

I find inspiration in so much of the art around me. Music tends to be the backbone of many of my ideas I hear a song or a certain sound and I envision a location and a look.

What do you hope audiences retain from your work?

A desire to create whatever they have always wanted, nothing brings me more joy than someone telling me I inspired them to make one of their crazy ideas come to reality.
